Education builds a country’s foundation: President Murmu

President Droupadi Murmu stated on Tuesday that a nation is built on its educational system.

The president stated that education was the key to releasing a person's full potential while speaking at an event held at the Keshav Memorial Educational Society as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav in Hyderabad.

She said that the Keshav Memorial Educational Society's activities had increased from a small school in 1940 to a notable educational centre with nine different institutions and over 11,000 students enrolled.

This development is a homage to the principles of the late Justice Keshav Rao Koratkar, in whose honour the society was founded.

This, according to President Murmu, is extremely important for both the local population and the country as a whole.

"As we commemorate the historic Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, it is crucial for us to keep in mind that our independence is much more than only being freed from tyrannical dictators of the past."
